Yum Yum Food brand Sui Mai recalled due to undeclared egg and milk.

 

OTTAWA, February 9, 2013 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Yum Yum Food are warning people with allergies to egg or milk not to consume, and retailers not to sell, the Yum Yum Food brand Sui Mai product described below. The affected product contains egg and milk which are not declared on the label.

The affected product, Yum Yum Food brand Sui Mai, is sold frozen in 228 g packages bearing UPC 8 30121 10017 0. All codes of the product are affected.

This product has been distributed in Ontario.

There has been one reported reaction associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg or milk.

The manufacturer, Yum Yum Food, Toronto, Ontario is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Yum Yum Food are warning people with allergies to egg or milk not to consume, and retailers not to sell, the Yum Yum Food brand Shrimp Wonton and Shrimp Dumpling products described below. The affected products contain egg and milk which are not declared on the label.

All codes of the following Yum Yum Food brand products, which are sold frozen, are affected by this alert:
