August-WhereInTheWorldIsMyEpinephrine-mountain-biking

Meet Joel, 13, the August winner of our year-long #WhereInTheWorldIsMyEpinephrine campaign. Joel and his family are longtime Kids With Food Allergies community members. They like to mountain bike and hike near their Pennsylvania home.

“We've always told Joel that it's a good idea to keep an epinephrine auto-injector with him everywhere, whether he's in the middle of the woods or out on the ocean,” says his mom, Elsa.

Here, Joel tucked his epinephrine away in his CamelBak®.

“I've appreciated KFA for years, it's always a great source for recall info, finding new safe foods, etc.,” says his mom. Joel and his family win their choice of $400 worth of Certified asthma & allergy friendly™ products.

Where are you taking your epinephrine or your child's epinephrine this fall? Apple picking, football games, parades? Show us by joining #‎WhereInTheWorldIsMyEpinephrine!

Add your photo to our campaign and the next winner could be you! (You do not need to show your auto-injectors - just send us a photo of where you have taken them with you).

Epinephrine is the only treatment for anaphylaxis (anna-fih-LACK-sis). Anaphylaxis is a serious allergic reaction that must be treated immediately. Studies show many people leave their emergency medicine behind, so take yours with you everywhere– to the movies, on vacation, family gatherings and trick or treating.

To enter, share your photo with the hashtag #WhereInTheWorldIsMyEpinephrine on the platform of your choice:
