Delft Blue recalls Compliments Breaded Veal Cutlettes due to undeclared mustard.

 

OTTAWA, February 13, 2013 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Delft Blue, a division of Grober Inc, are warning people with allergies to mustard not to consume Compliments brand Breaded Veal Cutlettes. The affected product contains mustard which is not declared on the label.

The affected product, Compliments brand Breaded Veal Cutlettes, is sold in 680 g packages bearing UPC 0 55742 33693 1. All Best Before codes are affected by this alert.

This product has been distributed in Ontario.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to mustard.

The manufacturer, Delft Blue, a division of Grober Inc, (Est 13), Cambridge, Ontario, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
