Like many organizations, Kids With Food Allergies (KFA), a division of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA), has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. The food allergy community has been heavily impacted by several events of 2020:

  • The public health emergency and economic recession caused by the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Reduced production of allergy-friendly foods and food labeling changes due to the pandemic
  • Record-breaking wildfires and health impacts related to natural disasters and air pollution
  • Widespread upheaval over racial injustices that have once again shined a light on long-standing health disparities

All these emergencies have affected people managing food allergies. But your year-end gift to KFA can ease some of these hardships. You can help us do even more for the community we serve than we were able to do in 2020.

Thanks to you, we were able to:

But our work is not finished.

People are still struggling with the impact of the pandemic. COVID-19 has made our community more vulnerable than ever. But if you give what you can, we can continue our work of educating, advocating, and supporting cutting-edge research that will allow people with food allergies to have better quality of life.

Our programs have lost funding this year due to the pandemic. Can you help us ensure we can support these life-saving services in 2021?
