Are you sometimes confused by the food allergy information you receive? Do you wonder what’s true and what’s not? Then join Kids With Food Allergies and Dr. David R. Stukus for our October 8 webinar, Food Allergy Myths and Facts.

Dr. Stukus, a board-certified pediatric allergist, will discuss the myths and facts around five topics that are often misunderstood.

Join us and test your knowledge about:

  1. The overuse and improper interpretation of blood testing (also known as serum IgE levels). What do the tests mean?
  2. The latest information on egg allergy and vaccinations.
  3. The belief that skin testing is unreliable until your baby is two years of age or older.
  4. Shellfish allergies - can you get a CAT scan with radiocontrast media?
  5. Treating severe allergic reactions, or anaphylaxis. Can you use antihistamines first? (Hint: the answer is no! Use epinephrine first).

We will record this webinar. If you cannot attend the live event, we will email you a link to the recording within a few days.

You may send your questions in advance on the registration form.

We thank Sanofi for providing an unrestricted sponsorship of this webinar.
