(Canada) Milk Allergy Alert: Sensations Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn

Compliments brand recalls Sensations Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn due to undeclared milk.


OTTAWA, September 10, 2012 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Super Pufft are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the Compliments brand Sensations Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn described below. The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label.


The affected product, Compliments brand Sensations Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, is sold in 297 <abbr title="gram">g</abbr> packages, bearing <abbr title="Universal product code">UPC</abbr> 6 23682 11058 6 and a lot code of <abbr title="best before">BB</abbr>/MA 2012 <abbr title="november">NO</abbr> 06.

This product has been distributed in Ontario only.


There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.


The manufacturer, Super Pufft, Mississauga, <abbr title="Ontario">ON</abbr>, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The <acronym title="Canadian Food Inspection Agency">CFIA</acronym> is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
