So glad to here he was able to go and have some discreet help to enjoy a meal there as well!  I think my son went to his prom but ate before hand and just had beverages. The important part for both of our boys is that they got to go and enjoy the experience, and they were prepared in case a reaction occurred!

By calling a week in advance, the banquet Hall accommodated his milk and egg allergy.  Brought his own safe post prom meal (cruise ship on the lake at midnight) in a thermo lunch bag in which one of the chaperone's held on to it so he wouldn't have to carry it around.  His date carried his benadryl and Auvi-Q in her clutch.  Smooth night thanks to the understanding and educated Prom coordinators, banquet kitchen manager and the chaperone.
