Oh, man! That is a tough allergy set! Our Gastrointestinal Disorders/EOE forum would be a great place to start getting tips and tricks, and on our School Age, Tweens and Teens forum we have moms willing to share their tips and tricks for that Big K transition in the fall. PLUS, (reaching down deep into my goodie bag of tricks ...  ah-ha!) I really benefitted from KFA's School Resources area on the website. It helps you with handouts and tips and tricks to ask for that 504 -- do you have a 504 plan to help him manage those allergies at school?

Pop in and introduce yourself, and post a specific question that's on your mind to get you started. These moms ROCK!

Hello! He has EOE and is allergic to eggs dairy wheat all nuts seafood apples oranges corn blueberries turkey. He is currently on a 5 week challenge for soy, we are 2 weeks in and so far he's doing fine. He will be scoped on the 25th to make sure he's not developing eosinophils if not we can keep soy in his diet. I make everything we eat for him we just call it "doodle safe" that's his nickname. It's an adventure but he's been diagnosed since 6 months old so we have learned to handle it well! I'm super nervous for kindergartens this fall!

Looks like he has some Turtle Power to help him ka-pow! food allergies! What food allergies does Anthony manage? If you're looking for some help with food and cooking, KFA has just the Food and Cooking forum for you ... it's one of my favorite spots on KFA.
