Wow!! That really puts a visual image to what I imagine what might happen to my little one. I'm so, so happy that Sam is well!!  Best to you and little Sam!

I'm so thankful he is ok - but watching this made me cry.  It hits so close to home.  I am always amazed at how brave our lil ones are - much braver than I am.  Thanks for sharing.  I shared it on my FB page so that others who aren't dealing with FAs will have an idea of what we are dealing with and why we may seem so "overprotective" of our FA kids.

Me - NKA DH - Seasonal Allergies DD (12) NKA DD (8) FA to peanuts, tn, and wheat; asthma (QVAR) Passed straight egg and straight milk challenges!

Wow -- amazing that he is still so hivey and red after the Epi and Benedryl were already on board.  Lynda is right -- you probably did save his life.  Good job Mom!

I hope he is feeling better now.  And how smart of you to take a video so that you can remind him when he is older and hasn't had a reaction for a long time.

Carol DS (16) Anaphylaxis to Peanuts and Tree Nuts (except almond). Non life threatening allergies to banana and avocado. EoE

I am so thankful that he is OK and hope the mom/ dad/ other family members are, too.  I remember after having used the Epi our allergist asked "how were you with using the epi?" and I said, simply, "I was fine with it... I wasn't fine with my son not being able to breath!"  I hope that you felt the same, or that whoever actually used it.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
