Very cool! I love his proactive and positive response! How did he get the idea to write a book?

From Food Allergy Kid's Mom: Eastin's elementary school PTA has an annual (voluntary) book writing program. Eastin wanted to help other kids, so he used the opportunity to write a book about living with a food allergy. He believes that having a food allergy doesnโ€™t make you different, it just means you must be more careful about what you eat and speak up about your needs. Eastin dedicated his book to all kids with food allergies.

Several friends with food allergies loved the book and wanted a copy. So we decided as a family to publish his book this summer so Eastin can help more kids.

We've got a discussion going about  "What do people say when you tell them your family manages food allergies?" on the forums. What tips would you share that have worked for your family?

From Food Allergy Kid's Mom: Thanks - we'll share some tips!
