File Comment❤️Thank you! I am so happy to share this one with everyone and I have to admit - this birthday cake and set up was my favorite project I have done. My kids loved the nearly 6 foot barn and farm animals I made so much that we used it as a wall decoration in their play room afterwards!

Blog Post Comment❤️This was a great article! Very clear and concise descriptions and great presentation format! This emphasis on the different types I've never seen stressed before. It would be very helpful to further understanding by also knowing what is the percentage of IgE mediated vs. non-IgE mediated food allergies. I hope that additional information can be posted in a comment or follow-up blog entry. Thank you!
-
Blog Post CommentI don't think there is any prevalence data on that....
-
Blog Post CommentThank you, thank you, thank you! I used this handout at a meeting with my son's teacher this morning after a near miss due to confusion about IgE vs. non-IgE allergies. This put things simply for her, and now I feel confident that she understands and can keep my son safe at school.

Blog Post CommentThat's great to hear that it was useful for that type of situation!

Blog Post CommentThis is awesome.... One area I see a market for you is seeds.... They are a great alternative to nuts, but it is very difficult to find them not processed the same facility as peanuts and treenuts. So far all we can find reliably is sunflower seeds.
-
Blog Post CommentGood point - it is difficult to source seeds that are not cross contaminated w/ other things.

Blog Post CommentIs it possible to get this list in a PDF format for easy printing to share with others?

Blog Post Comment@SuzanneF - we don't have it available as PDF handout, but you should be able to highlight the portion you want and then "print to PDF" in your browser. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Blog Post Comment@HealthyMama Which of these recipes did you end up trying?

Blog Post Comment❤️Oh this looks so delicious and I bet no one will be able to tell that it's dairy-free. I've made dirt with the CocoWhip before and it was a hit. Love how you can make it festive for the upcoming Memorial Day and July 4th holidays, and use any combo of berries you like. The idea of making it into a frozen berry pie using graham cracker crust sounds dreamy!
-
Blog Post Comment❤️Genius! My son eats CocoWhip like ice cream he loves it so much. I know he's love this also!

File CommentThank you! We use white Betty Crocker frosting and mix in Betty Crocker's green food coloring. We are pn/tn/egg - avoid shared lines (we ideally prefer to avoid pn/tn facilities). We personally feel comfortable with their labeling. Of course, it is always best to call for yourself as everyone has different comfort levels.

Database Record CommentHurley, We have started a new database for "Allergy-Friendly Foods" and the notifications don't have a "message" in them like blogs or post notifications. You need to check the database in order to see what has been added. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
