Love seeing these #NewFoodFinds ~ the brownie crisps look delicious and the veggie bites & burgers sound really interesting! And great to see more products that are corn-free as well!
Also, I wanted to mention Trader Joe's carries the non-mint brownie crisps, and they are delicious! I'm fairly certain these are the Lucy's brownie crisps private labeled. Gluten, egg, nut, and dairy-free. (Of the top 8, they only contain soy.)
Yes! I hope that more companies will realize how many families are affected by allergies and follow suite. So glad that we will be able to enjoy this company again.
French Toast and Pancakes: Verdict - Meh x 3 Mixing it - I didn't want to mix up the entire pouch. After some looking along the website I found you could mix it up in smaller batches if you have a device that can blend a smaller amount of liquid. I did 4 tsp and 1 cup water and blended with a stick blender. The smell is quite strong! Pancake: I thought I could then hand blend the prepared product into my pancake batter. It did not blend in completely. I saw yellow bits and bobs throughout.
I really hope these become available in more areas, or at very least for online shopping! I really don't care for soy or mushroom based fake meats, plus most aren't gluten free anyway, so I am really excited about this!
I picked up some Qrunch burgers to try & plan to offer them to the kids for dinner tonight. They were in the freezer section near other "veggie burgers". Complete ingredient list: organic millet, organic quinoa, organic coconut oil, organic onion, organic carrots, organic broccoli, organic spinach, arrowroot starch, organic apple cider vinegar, psyllum seed powder, kosher salt, organic garlic, non-GMO canola oil I'll report back after we do the "taste test" ...
And the taste test results are in! Both kids (2.5 and 5.5 yo) said "yummy!" then asked for seconds and asked that I put Qrunch on the shopping list. My review - nice crunchy exterior, overall good texture & liked the flavor. Hand mixing..., anthing but blending, is a def no-no. Blending creates a smooth luxurious thick yolk. On the french toast try just dipping day old sour dough bread into Vegg mixture with no milk for maximal eggy taste. I'm suprised you did't think it tasted like french toast since it's almost unanimously judged to be 'just like' french toast.

And the review is in ... the adults liked the "Spicy Italian" Qrunch burgers, but they were too spicy for our little kids. Views and reviews expressed by volunteers reflect their personal opinions and not necessarily the views or opinions of Kids With Food Allergies Foundation.
Shopping today & noticed 2 new flavors of Qrunch burgers: - sweet curry with lentils - green chile with pinto beans From what I can tell on the Qrunch facebook page, these look like they were released on April 15, 2013.

Sesame seed is non top eight allergen so it would be safest to call them directly. There are two different Synders companies One is Synders of Hanover the other is Synders of Berlin bith make pretzels so you may luck out with one if the other isn’t safe good luck
I never can find this in a store. I love their Veganaise with the purple top. I so missed BLTs and chicken salad. With Veganaise, tofu and xantham gum, I can even make crab cakes like my MIL (lots of bread crumbs) but it holds together.
