So excited to see this! DS will be in love with pizza! I'm sure the cost will be high, but for a treat once in a while this would be great. The only other product I want from them is string cheese.
Sorrel Pesto: 2 cups of sorrel leaves (remove ribs), 1/3 cup grapeseed oil, juice from one medium lemon, 2 raw garlic gloves, 1/4 cup nutritional yeast, 4 oz of roasted pepitas. Makes 4 servings. Each serving has more than 50% Vitamin A and C; 27% of your RDI of iron, 17 g of protein, more than 9g of fiber. Welcome to KFA Caroline! Hope you try it and enjoy it! We just sent dd off to college and this was one of the things she wanted to be able to make in her dorm to keep in the fridge to snack on. She practiced making it before move in day and served it to extended family for dinner along w/ grilled meat. There were no leftovers!
I really hope these become available in more areas, or at very least for online shopping! I really don't care for soy or mushroom based fake meats, plus most aren't gluten free anyway, so I am really excited about this!
I picked up some Qrunch burgers to try & plan to offer them to the kids for dinner tonight. They were in the freezer section near other "veggie burgers". Complete ingredient list: organic millet, organic quinoa, organic coconut oil, organic onion, organic carrots, organic broccoli, organic spinach, arrowroot starch, organic apple cider vinegar, psyllum seed powder, kosher salt, organic garlic, non-GMO canola oil I'll report back after we do the "taste test" ...
And the taste test results are in! Both kids (2.5 and 5.5 yo) said "yummy!" then asked for seconds and asked that I put Qrunch on the shopping list. My review - nice crunchy exterior, overall good texture & liked the flavor.
