Yes - those are plastic straws that I cut to a "pop" length. The straw wasn't strong enough to poke into the styrofoam, so I used mini-skewers into the styrofoam to support the straw as the chocolate cooled / hardened. I'm not sure if the plastic straws will end up being "strong" enough to support the cake pop for transport & eating. I'll report back on what happens after I send these off to school for a party.
Hi! This is great! But I tried it last year with Enjoy Life mini chips and the chocolate didn't seem to stay hard when taken out of the fridge. Did you use Enjoy Life chips? Did you put anything else while melting it? Thanks!!!
Hi @Abigails Mommy , the recipe calls for "mini" chocolate chips, not "mint". The difference between an I and a T may be hard to see on your device. As you know, but I'm sharing for the benefit of readers, Enjoy Life Foods makes dairy-free, soy-free mini chocolate chips.
Ratio for 15 cake pops: 1 pack of Kinnitoos (18 cookies), 1/3 of an 8oz block cream cheese, safe confectionary coating (Chocoley or Guittard A'Peels). Sprinkles are India Tree raspberry sugar and CK Products white/silver/blue edible glitter squares and dark blue/silver/white edible glitter. Have tried replicating Bakerella's "boo" cake pop with relative success and next want to try the mini minion... once you have the cake pop, you can decorate with anything safe. (I used 5 packs of cookies...
Brown chicken pieces and carmelize the onions so it leaves flavor on pan. Spices Italian seasoning. Minced onions. I used gfcfsf bacon freeze for flavor when mixing in sliced colored sweet mini peppers abd frozen organic green beans. In seperate pan when starting chicken boil chicken broth. Add gf noodles till soft then mix in with chicken and veggies mix. Then let steam with chicken broth from noodles to complete flavor abd make a think creamy sauce that cooked the gf rice noodles.
I'm thinking, ocean background, outline of Aus, with a moulded kangaroo and koala, etc... Need to do some GF cupcakes for a few guests. So was thinking mini Aus flags on those .
Just so I can remember which recipe I used http://gayathriscookspot.com/2...eggless-mini-donuts/ They were more dense than commercial but overall very tasty
