Today I discovered Subway now offers sesame ginger kitchen. This is a major blow for those of us who depend on Subway to provide peanut, tree nut, and sesame free food. Is there anything you can do? Thank you Amy Kay
Be careful with King Arthur products. I purchased their brownies and sent an email to ask about treenuts/peanuts in their mixes. Please see their response below RESPONSE Thanks for contacting us here at King Arthur Flour. King Arthur Flour’s certified gluten-free blends and mixes don’t have any of the U.S. top 8 allergens added to them as ingredients; however, they can share production equipment with eggs, dairy, soy, coconut, and almonds. We employ robust allergen-control measures in order...
This is really great. I was watching Bloomberg and they were interviewing the Nestle president. He was speaking about being dedicated to cleaner food and overall improving their product for all people. I am impressed. I saw this interview maybe 3 months ago and to already see products on the self is a good sign. Thanks for sharing
I called and they make them in a dedicated facility free of the top 8 allergens. Intentionally made in another country to ensure no cross contact. LOVE IT!!!!!!
I'm not sure the white chocolate chips are out yet, but you might be able to use the product locator at Nestle's website to help you find the chocolate chips.
As a fellow mom who has helped her daughter manage a corn allergy, I hear ya! Keep on the lookout as more products are added, and hopefully there WILL be some that will work with your allergy set. And please feel free to start a new topic on our community forums -- I have found great support in managing a corn allergy on our forums, and hopefully you will, too!
Hello DearsMany thanks!! it will be a good product but not for my son who is allergic to coconut too. After my experience with fooď allergies and taking care of my son I discovered that many kids who are allergic to tree nuts have the risk to be allergic to coconut too knowing that coconut do not bellow to tree nut but to palm, the same as kids who are alergic to dairy have the risk to be alergic to soya milk too. I liked to share my opinion for new parents who suffer from food allergies.
Hi Olaf - there are a lot of coconut based products. Do you find it difficult to avoid coconut when looking for new foods to try? We'd love to have your share your opinions and experiences with other parents. Have you read through KFA's forums lately?
Yum! I spotted a can of the coconut whipping cream a while back and picked it up. I had no plans for it, but I had stashed it in the fridge. We had a ton of blueberries so I decided to make Frozen Berry Mousse . The texture was a little more icy than when I've made it with the tub coconut whipped topping, but still delish! A great option with minimal ingredients!
Hello there .Yes the ciconut everywhere in new product make my life more difficult to avoid it same as I avoid tree nuts, and dairy products to my sin. And the dander of all, some milk formula for babies who are diagnosted of food allergies like animals milk they give them substitute that contain coconut ...... the danger of coconut is very serious even when kids are not diagnosted with all type of food allergies. Thank you againBest regards | |
I haven't seen these in our stores, but I have found the Siete grain-free tortilla chips -- they are very tasty and a good corn-free substitute! I actually have a bag of them in my pantry now. But you're right, Mallory, they ARE pricey -- I found these on sale. Hopefully I can find some coupons or the price will go down.
