Kids With Food Allergies (KFA), a division of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America hosted a free educational webinar on April 16, 2014 featuring guest speaker David Stukus, MD. Dr. Stukus reviewed the different types of food allergy tests and what they mean, explained false positives and predictive values as well as answered questions from the audience.
An attendee gave this review as the most valuable part of the webinar:
“I liked how you had a doctor that specialized in pediatric allergies because he did a great job of explaining terminology, tests and results, and misconceptions.”
The following is the video recording of the webinar and a list of resources to accompany the presentation.
We thank Dr. Stukus for volunteering his time and lending us his expertise on the topic of food allergy testing and diagnosis. We also thank ThermoFisher Scientific for their educational grant that funded this educational program. Below you will find a list of resources related to this presentation.
