Food Allergy Awareness Week is here! May 12-18, we focus on spreading information about what it’s like to manage food allergies and prevent and treat anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction.
To help you spread awareness about food allergies, we've created the following graphics for you to share. This is one small way you can get involved.
How to share:
Click on an image and save it to your computer/device. (For desktop computers, right-click on the image and click “Save As.” For mobile phones or tablets, just click and hold and download/save it.) Then share the image with your friends, family, via email, text or social media. Or you can use the social share buttons you see on the left (desktop) or at the bottom of your screen (mobile).
You can also follow KFA on Facebook and Instagram to share and Twitter to retweet.
We will be sharing more images throughout the week: the definition of food allergies, the burden of food allergies on families, how to prevent food allergic reactions, how to treat food allergic reactions and more.
More Than Food Allergies
May is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month. This year, we want to dispel myths and help others see beyond food allergies. We are raising awareness about how food allergies are more than just a physical condition. They impact every aspect of life. But they don't have to define your child. Show us how your child is #morethanfoodallergies.
