OTTAWA, September 18, 2012 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Canada Safeway Limited are warning people with allergies to fish, shrimp and sesame seeds not to consume the Safeway SELECT products described below. The affected products are mislabelled and contain fish, shrimp and sesame seeds which are not declared on the label.
The following products are affected by this alert.

These products were distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. However, they may have been distributed in other provinces.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to fish, shrimp or sesame seeds.
Canada Safeway LTD, Calgary, AB is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
