I am so pleased to announce that we are about to begin a free webinar series as a new education and support service offered by Kids With Food Allergies Foundation. We’ll be scheduling presenters for medical and non-medical topics of interest to families raising children with food allergies during the upcoming months.

The series will expand our current education and support service offerings as part of our nonprofit’s commitment to families.  Each webinar will be scheduled for an hour with dedicated time for questions and answers at the end. Only an Internet connection will be required to participate.   A free app is available to those wishing to participate by iOS devices. A dial in number will be available for those who wish to participate by phone.

Offered on a monthly basis for the rest of this year, most of the webinars will be recorded and hosted on the www.kidswithfoodallergies.org website for future viewing for those unable to make it to the live session.

We’ve got some wonderful speakers scheduled, with our first webinar on June 12th focused on a topic that “hits home” with so many families – trying to find ways to afford the high cost of allergy-friendly foods.  Money Saving Queen Sarah Roe, a mom of a young boy with food allergies herself, has turned saving money into an art!  She is now is a sought-after speaker and is featured on TV stations across the country offering her money saving tips and couponing tactics.  She will share her inspirational story with you, as well as her ideas with you on how to save money on allergy-friendly and organic foods.  You can find out more about our upcoming webinar with Sarah and register by going here.

To receive announcements about our scheduled webinars monthly, please sign up for our mailing list.  We’ll also be announcing the webinars via our website and online community, Facebook and Twitter.

To make this webinar series a success, we welcome suggestions for topics and speakers!  Please feel free to contact me directly with your ideas or post your comments here – I’d love to hear them.
