Announcement

Condies Foods of Kearns, UT is recalling 166 cases of code date “USE THRU 01/05/2018,” there is a possibility that this may contain undeclared milk and egg allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk and egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Product was distributed to Coremark Distribution centers that distributed product to stores in:

• Arizona
• Colorado
• Idaho
• Nevada
• Nebraska
• Utah
• Wyoming

The product looks as follows:

The description of the product in question is:

Label UPC for the wrong label is 50777222655

Product is supposed to be a broccoli, celery, carrot, and ranch dip called Veggie Cup 6.5oz

The label says Fresh Fruit.

The code date Use Thru 01/05/2018 is on the side.

There have been no documented illnesses at this time.

After getting an initial complaint from a customer about the label not matching the description of the product, after seeing the pictures from the email it was decided to initiate a voluntary recall to ensure that our public would not get further exposure to an erroneous product.  In Condies Foods, we value the safety of our clientele and strive to deliver the best and wholesome products.
