Asthma is the most common chronic childhood illness and is much more prevalent in allergic children, including those with food allergies. Children with both food allergies and asthma are at increased risk for severe anaphylaxis. Also, food allergies often begin the pathway towards the development of persistent problematic asthma in young children. The presenting signs and symptoms, triggers, and treatment of early childhood wheezing and asthma will all be reviewed. The specific association of asthma in regards to food allergy reactions and management will be highlighted as well.
You need to attend this webinar if:
• Your child has ever experienced breathing problems
• Your child has food allergies
• You want to learn more about how to provide the best care for your child.
