Pepperidge Farm Issues Voluntarily Recall Of Bagels In Select States Due To Undeclared Allergens

Pepperidge Farm is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of bagels because they may contain undeclared allergens, including peanuts and almonds. People who have allergies to peanuts and almonds run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recall affects all varieties of Pepperidge Farm bagels, as follows:

The recall was initiated after the bakery that made the products reported that peanuts and almonds had been included in an ingredient. Pepperidge Farm is removing all of the affected product from store shelves. No illnesses have been reported. No other Pepperidge Farm products are affected by this recall.These products were shipped to grocery, mass, drug and independent retailers in the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
