The Poultry Place recalls Krispy Chicken Wings and Marinated Chicken Wings due to undeclared egg and wheat.

 

OTTAWA, September 19, 2012 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and The Poultry Place are warning people with allergies to egg and wheat not to consume certain The Poultry Place brand Chicken wings described below. The affected products contain egg or wheat which is not declared on the label.

The follow The Poultry Place brand products are affected by this alert:

These products have been distributed in Ontario.

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to egg and wheat.

The manufacturer, The Poultry Place, Saint Jacobs, ON is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
