More Than Food Allergies

Nearly 6 million children and more than 26 million adults in the U.S. have food allergies.

May 12-19, 2019, is Food Allergy Awareness Week. This year, our focus is on raising awareness about how food allergies are more than just a physical condition – they impact every aspect of life. But they don't have to define you.

Together, we can work to overcome the challenges and burdens of food allergies – in ways both big and small.

Show us how your child is #morethanfoodallergies. Take a picture showing how you and your child overcome food allergy barriers and live a full life. Upload it to our online community to enter. Three winners will be selected during Food Allergy Awareness Month from all eligible photo entries.

To enter the photo contest:

  1. Take a photo showing how your child is more than food allergies. Show how you and your child overcome obstacles that managing food allergies puts in your way.
  2. Upload your image to KFA’s online food allergy community  You must be registered to upload your photo. All photos shared can be seen by the public. Only registered members can upload photos, add comments or view members' profiles or signatures.
