@LyndaMac: There is a candy store on the East side of Cleveland called, Chocolate Emporium, and I get all my chips from there. They carry dairy-free/soy-free and nut-free chips in three flavors: white, dark, and *new and very exciting* caramel. The chocolate and caramel flavors are very good! The white chips aren't as tasty, but I add flavoring when I melt them. Their email is www.choclat.com; phone 1-888-CHOCLAT. Hope this helps! Congrats on your little one outgrowing dairy! I'm hoping for that outcome someday!
Also forgot to add that that I used dairy/soy-free white chocolate chips that were melted and mixed with a bit of green food color and mint flavoring, then molded, to create the shamrock pops at the back of the cake!
