The "fancy" swirls are super easy to do and always has a big wow factor. It's 2 different frosting colors in the same pastry bag (colors "on top of each other" with the bag lying on the counter) then a big swirl with a large star tip.

Frosting is "buttercream" using Earth Balance "buttery sticks",Spectrum Shortening, and rice milk

 

Decorated with Surf Sweets gummy hearts and Gimbal's cherry lovers heart-shaped jelly beans.
