Welcome to the community @Jasmina ! Happy to have you here 🤗 This is a good question. Generally, it's not necessary to avoid foods when breastfeeding. However it's best to discuss with your allergist as it can be an individual approach, especially an elimination diet. An elimination diet should only be performed under the direction of your doctor.
And what about breastfeeding child with atopic dermatitis? Is it placebo effect which mothers describe as a succes with elimination diet (documenting with diary)? Or again individual approach? Thanks.
Update from Kellanova - This change does not pose a cross-contact risk. If an allergen is present, it will be clearly indicated in the ingredient list AND in a "contains" or "may contain" statement. This includes any risk of cross-contact.
I assume the inclusion of the statement "As of Feb. 6, 2024, the FDA reported receiving adverse events associated with use of Nurse Assist products and is further evaluating this information. Avanos has not been directly contacted with any reported adverse events." in this article is unintentional and not related to this flour recall? Thanks for the heads-up on these product recalls!
