Re: Food Allergy Test: What Does It Mean?

Lara707 ·
I realize your post is from 2012 but in reading the comments trying to find a solution for my daughter's situation, I had to write in the event you were still having issues. Please google PANDAS in regards to your daughter's violent behavior after having Strep throat. There is a direct link. It has been in the news a lot recently. https://www.webmd.com/children...-scary-kids-disorder

Re: Food Allergy Test: What Does It Mean?

Any thoughts or direction on behavioral issues due to food? My now 6 year old daughter never had any stomach issues, eczema, or anything else, but she became absolutely uncontrollable (threatening to kill me, punching, kicking)after a strep infection back in February. I figured something had to have happened and had the doctor do all the gluten related bloodwork since it was just not her and her oldest brother is GFCF. Sure enough, it came back positive. The allergist put her on an...

He was playing with his little brother Raidyn when Raidyn decided to take a nap in his arms. It was a very sweet moment, Kolbyn was only sad because he was facing a wall when Raidyn did this so he had nothing to look at. Kolbyn is Raidyns favorite brother (there are 6 kids altogether only 1 girl)

Re: Spreading Food Allergy Awareness One Teal Pumpkin at a Time

RW ·
What are some other ways people deal with Halloween? I don't think this teal thing should stop by any means, but I am having a hard time seeing it as a widely accepted solution. I have a peanut/treenut allergic kid and I have very mixed emotions... On the one hand, I like the added awareness, but on the other hand... I think this might be expecting too much . In our town, some neighborhoods get hundreds of kids and per item non-food stuff can get expensive. Plus, I really don't want my...

Re: New Food Find: Milk and Soy Free Cheese Wedges by Daiya

I am new to viewing this site, but this might be an answer to prayer! My three year old is now realizing she does not get the foods her sister and brother receive and this will be great if I can make her a pizza or tortilla with "cheese". The others we have tried do not taste well at all so hopefully this will be something new for her. Being allergic to dairy and egg and having a picky eater is quite a challenge! Thanks!
