Inhaler Dose Counters Reduce Visits to ED
A study shows asthma inhalers that contain dose counters reduce trips to the hospital (for asthma) by 49%; with an even more dramatic affect on those with exercise-induced bronchospasm, who reportedly saw an 83% reduction in emergency visits when their inhalers have a dose counter.
