Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters Inc. of Spokane, WA is recalling 15 loaves of Blueberry Bread because it may contain undeclared EGG. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Blueberry Bread was distributed and sold at Thomas Hammer Coffee retail shops in WA and Coeur dβAlene, ID via company owned delivery vehicles.
Bread was sold as slices wrapped individually in food grade pastry bags, 3.7oz net weight, between the dates of 03/25/2019 β 03/26/2019 and were pulled from stores in the morning of 03/27/2019. There are no expiration dates or lot codes on label and product has a 5-day shelf life.
NO illness has been reported to date.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered during a routine inspection, the product containing EGG was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of EGG.
This recall is being made with the knowledge of the Washington State Department of Agriculture and U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Consumers who have purchased a Blueberry Bread slice from Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters retail locations and have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
