NFL Vikings' Adrian Peterson Recalls Anaphylaxis Scare

Last year, we reported that Vikings' star Adrian Peterson had been rushed to the hospital after a severe allergic reaction to seafood.

Now, he's partnering with Mylan Specialty (maker of EpiPens) to launch the Anaphylaxis Preparedness Campaign. Peterson carries two EpiPens with him everywhere he goes. He recently shared with USA Today: "I'm normally pretty good under pressure so I stayed calm, didn't panic too much and just called to get the help I knew I needed.''

This is great advice to share with food allergy sufferers and he hopes people can learn from his scare.
