File CommentSame idea as doing a "zebra" cake with chocolate and vanilla batters. For these rainbow cupcakes we split the batter into 6 bowls and colored them with gel colors. Each color is 1/2 Tablespoon of batter poured right on top of each other. You need to be a little careful but not super careful - that's a 5 year old in the pic helping make rainbow cupcakes.

Blog Post CommentThey were already baking. Just tossed them and started over. Adding pic of this batch. Now troubleshoot me please. I didn't have sweet rice flour so I used sweet sorghum in place. Odd texture but tastes amazing. Should I sub a diff flour? I have 15 to choose from lol!

Blog Post CommentGood morning, I am typing this email as I sit in the PIC unit with my 9 year old son. He had an allergic reaction after eating Ener G pretzels. Something he has eaten everyday. I called the company and they said nothing has changed in ingredients or processing. How do I investigate this further? Trish Hanna

File CommentThanks! Birthday kid is way into Shakespeare - so he wanted his cake to be a replica of the most famous theater associated with Shakespeare. This was zebra (chocolate & regular) "wacky cake", then I cut a circle out of the middle. The "wood" for the half-timber look and rooftop was chocolate roll-out cookies cut into "boards". I also used mini cookie cutters to make the name & number out of chocolate cookie. It's hard to see in this pic - but in the middle is a "stage" built out of...
