Love seeing these #NewFoodFinds ~ the brownie crisps look delicious and the veggie bites & burgers sound really interesting! And great to see more products that are corn-free as well!
Also, I wanted to mention Trader Joe's carries the non-mint brownie crisps, and they are delicious! I'm fairly certain these are the Lucy's brownie crisps private labeled. Gluten, egg, nut, and dairy-free. (Of the top 8, they only contain soy.)
I really hope these become available in more areas, or at very least for online shopping! I really don't care for soy or mushroom based fake meats, plus most aren't gluten free anyway, so I am really excited about this!
I picked up some Qrunch burgers to try & plan to offer them to the kids for dinner tonight. They were in the freezer section near other "veggie burgers". Complete ingredient list: organic millet, organic quinoa, organic coconut oil, organic onion, organic carrots, organic broccoli, organic spinach, arrowroot starch, organic apple cider vinegar, psyllum seed powder, kosher salt, organic garlic, non-GMO canola oil I'll report back after we do the "taste test" ...
And the taste test results are in! Both kids (2.5 and 5.5 yo) said "yummy!" then asked for seconds and asked that I put Qrunch on the shopping list. My review - nice crunchy exterior, overall good texture & liked the flavor. And the review is in ... the adults liked the "Spicy Italian" Qrunch burgers, but they were too spicy for our little kids. Views and reviews expressed by volunteers reflect their personal opinions and not necessarily the views or opinions of Kids With Food Allergies Foundation.
Shopping today & noticed 2 new flavors of Qrunch burgers: - sweet curry with lentils - green chile with pinto beans From what I can tell on the Qrunch facebook page, these look like they were released on April 15, 2013.

Hi andy1105! Welcome to KFA! Please join us on our Support Forums. We have a forum just for Food & Cooking. You may find a lot of other yummy new foods. http://community.kidswithfooda...rum/food_and_cooking
I have a quick question. If I submit a recipe, KWFA then owns it? If KWFA reprints the recipe or uses it, would I be mentioned as the original creator or do I loose all rights to it once I submit? Thanks!
And we made more just last night! A wanted to make cookies for her bff and her boss (she works the front desk at her karate studio). So, Ninjabreadmen cookies it is!
They are both great! My son enjoyed the Mac n Cheese for dinner last night, first time he's ever liked a dairy free mac n cheese. I tasted it, it was fantastic. Today for lunch he asked to have sunbutter on the crackers and devoured them. We love Earth Balance products!
This is amazing! I love the innovative ways people thinking about food and how many more safe foods people can create when we get together and share ideas. Thank you!
Wow thank you for doing the comparison! Interesting that the chickpea has the mildest taste. I recently spotted a new egg replacer powder based on garbanzo flour and chia. I wonder how that would work.
