Kids With Food Allergies (KFA), a division of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America hosted a free educational webinar on February 26, 2014 featuring two of our medical advisors, Michael Pistiner, MD, and Angela Nace, PharmD. They presented information about epinephrine auto-injectors (available in the US), how epinephrine treats anaphylaxis, and other key facts about the drug. Additionally, they answered questions from the audience concerning temperature, antihistamines, accidental injections and more.

An attendee gave this review as the most valuable part of the webinar:

“This webinar was fantastic. It was a great refresher on epinephrine! It boost my confidence because of the ability to participate from home by answering the true and false questions. I believe I got them all correct. The most valuable thing about this webinar was the way it was presented. Here's a question, here's the answer...next. Very to the point.”

The following is the video recording of the webinar and a list of resources to accompany the presentation.

Thanks for the feedback ladies!  I'm glad you both found the webinar and resources helpful.

Thanks for noting that that the link for the babysitting handout is not there.

Thank you so much for this webinar!  You answered so many questions for this school nurse, both during your presentation & in the Q & A session!  I appreciate the time each of you gave to educate us more about epinephrine & anaphylaxis!

Thanks for a great webinar!  Very informative and helpful.  I noticed the babysitting handout shown on one of the last slides wasn't included in your list of links here, I was able to find it on my own, but thought I would point that out in case you want to add it.  Thanks!
