New Food Find: One Ingredient, Gluten-Free Pasta

Tolerant Foods have created single-ingredient, gluten-free, organic, Non-GMO, legume-based pastas.

The pastas are loaded with protein and fiber and come in these shapes:

The single ingredient in each pasta is either black beans or red lentils, making these one of the only options available for children with certain food allergies.

These pastas can be found at several Whole Foods Markets in New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut, some limited natural food markets in various states, and online.

Kids With Food Allergies traveled to Natural Products Expo West in search of new allergy-friendly foods. We will continue to share our New Food Finds on our blog in the coming weeks.

The information shared here is for your convenience only, it is not an endorsement or guarantee of the product's safety. Please read the ingredient labels and contact the manufacturer if needed to confirm the safety of a product for your child.

The price of these are expensive compared to other pastas, but since they have so much more protein and fiber, maybe it would be a good idea to mix these with your current gluten-free pasta to boost the nutrition of your meal. (If you can't afford to use these solely.)
