The size of this device will actually create more issues than solve. Its small size will resemble many other small devices or items one may carry in a purse or pocket. (smart phones etc.) When it is a panic situation and you are digging through a purse or pocket for this gadget it will only make the situation worse. Also, it takes a total of 34 seconds to go throught the process of using this gadget. This includes listening to all the prompts. Way to long in my opionion. People dont have...
They have no food allergies, but I still used my allergy friendly go to cakes! The bottom "pocket" is 2 layers of double batch Wacky Cake (3 c flour) in a quarter sheet pan. I baked 2 separate layers. Top oval "badge" is Vegan Zebra Cake as a "surprise" in a 6" oval pan. The frosting is all Wilton recipe buttercream. The plaque on top of the badge was done w/ white chocolate and candy melts (so dairy). I learned not to combine the 2! The candy melts are much thinner and wound up kind of...
I am on Medicare (they don't cover the cost) and a supplement, but my out of pocket cost is still around $300.00. Being on a federal program, the savings cards are not eligible. Could not afford my epi-pen, so I'm going without. By the way, can't take the injections either because I went into anaphylaxis. What are we supposed to do if on Medicare because I know I'm not the only one?
Hello, fellow parents! I just hung up with the service agent I reached via the 800 # listed on the press release. I waited 40 minutes in queue first. They are sending a recall packet, which arrives in 5-10 biz days. Meanwhile, I can go to pharmacy and buy (out-of-pocket) a new epi (not Auvi-Q, as they are all being taken off shelves), and I'll be reimbursed the cost after I send in proof-of-purchase along with my recalled Auvi-Qs.
This has been vey confusing, as to whether ALL Auvi-Q's are under the recall up to this point. Many on the Sanofi Lines were told it was only limited to Auvi-Q's with Expiration dates of March 2016 and later, with the lot numbers described for those Auvi-Q's. I myself received a return phone call from the FDA confirming exactly the same information, and that those Auvi-Q's with exp. dates of February 2016 and before should be fine. NOW SANOFI HAS REMOVED ALL DOUBT: ALL AUVI-Q AUTO-INJECTORS...
There are some recipes we all need to have in our back pocket. This gravy is one of them. Use this gravy recipe with homemade stock, store-bought stock, or use pan drippings. You need less than 10 minutes, and you can make it in advance. It keeps in the fridge up to 5 days. Let’s do this!
FYI, we just filled a prescription for Auvi Q at Walgreens for $139 per 2pack. We didn’t qualify for any of the assistance programs so we decided to pay out of pocket. The pharmacist at Walgreens put their own “coupon” in the system (it may have been a GoodRx coupon but it was cheaper than what is quoted online for GoodRx) and charged us only $139 per 2 pack. That’s cheaper than the Auvi Q price for those not covered by insurance.
