These are what awaits my family for breakfast in the morning! Gluten free version of my biscuit/scone recipe with dried cherries and ELF mini chocolate chips. We already sampled the "scraps".
So excited to see this! DS will be in love with pizza! I'm sure the cost will be high, but for a treat once in a while this would be great. The only other product I want from them is string cheese.
These were created by Meg : Make Chewy Cookies recipe from KFA's recipes , and pat into a foil liked, greased cookie sheet-type baking pan (with sides). Bake at temp in recipe for 12 min and allow to cool completely. Gently slide foil from pan on to a flat surface. Using a biscuit cutter (or other round item, like a glass) cut circles of cookie. Try to place the cuts as close together as possible to get the maximum number of cookies. (How many you get will depend on how large your cutter...
Leslie - that's how I've made them using homemade biscuit dough. I haven't used their pizza crust mix, but I might hold back a little of the water to see how loose the dough is.
They are both great! My son enjoyed the Mac n Cheese for dinner last night, first time he's ever liked a dairy free mac n cheese. I tasted it, it was fantastic. Today for lunch he asked to have sunbutter on the crackers and devoured them. We love Earth Balance products!
Hello and thanks for posting!! We found them at Whole Foods, and a local grocery store chain that has a large selection of vegan/gluten free/allergy-friendly products and regularly stocks many Earth Balance products. Earth Balance does have a store finder: http://earthbalancenatural.com/store-finder/ , but of course that doesn't tell you what stores carry what products, just that *some* Earth Balance products may be carried there. At least it could give you a place to start when calling...
I know this post is old, but I figured I should add to it since this thread is what I found when searching for this on KFA. I called EB today and they told me the vegan cheddar squares are processed on the same line as products containing soy and milk. I cannot remember what they said about egg since I wrote them off at soy and milk...no peanuts on the line or in the facility. no tree nuts on the line but there are in same facility. Hope this helps someone! Obviously call and confirm...

Sorry they don't work for you. Did you ask about their cleaning protocols? Depending on their cleaning, some might be OK w/ using things on shared lines.
I did not ask, but good point. We do trust other brands who have good allergy protocol with cleaning/testing...but those brands are better about having info on packages and websites. The woman I spoke to basically said if you are allergic to those things I wouldn't recommend using the product. but sometimes the right questions make all the difference...maybe I will call back.
Let us know what they say if you do call back. Knowing the cleaning procedures to assess the real potential for cross contact can make or break using a product for many folks.
Hi Goodsammy, The issue of introducing peanuts to babies is not whole peanuts or even peanut butter; it's peanut protein that would be in something like bamba , a baby biscuit that has peanut protein in it. But to answer your question, studies have been done that show that dry roasted peanuts appear to be more allergenic than boiled peanuts. Lynda
Cocoanut milk does not happen in our local grocery stores...and I live 130 miles from a big town where this product is available. Will the top recipe work with regular milk and be flaky? I am so anxious for a biscuit that is not like a hockey puck in texture, and probably flavor. Have never tried to eat a hockey puck, but they don't sound yummy!!! Thanks.
I made the biscuits today using weight measures(ignoring the cups). I didn't have much milk so I substituted soy milk and coconut creamer. They turned out wonderful! I can make a decent drop biscuit, but haven't had a real, true flaky biscuit is several years. They were sooo good I'll admit to gobbling up three before they were even cool. I have leftover ham from Easter so I'm going to make some ham and cheese biscuit sandwiches. Yum! Thank you so much for your help!
Yay! I've been nervously waiting for an update hoping they turned out for you! I'm sooooo glad they did! And you have me drooling over the idea of a ham and cheese biscuit!
