My daughter actually tested negative several times to some things as a baby despite reacting to them and then went on to test positive with low numbers. With egg for example her IgE was about 1.2, but she failed the in office food challenge with the initial dose of egg powder before the real food. She also tests positve with 1.92 and 1.98 to mustard and banana but just a tiny pin prick amount of her first taste of mustard her lip swelled up like a duck, and with 1/4 of a banana the same. Update from Kellanova - This change does not pose a cross-contact risk. If an allergen is present, it will be clearly indicated in the ingredient list AND in a "contains" or "may contain" statement. This includes any risk of cross-contact.
Update June 18th, 2024 : Update: In-N-Out confirmed that sesame flour will only be added to buns in Texas and Colorado. The company website has been updated with the following information: “Beginning June 12th, hamburger buns served at In-N-Out locations in Texas and Colorado will contain a small amount of sesame flour (less than 2% of ingredients). Buns served in our other six states (CA, NV, AZ, UT, OR, and ID) remain free of sesame.”
