This is great info Lynda! I hope your audience listened closely and will begin to implement your suggestions. I'd be interested to know the restaurateurs who attended!
Thank you, Kathryn! I don't think the list of attendees was released, but those who I met they were from colleges, large national restaurant chains, and individual restaurant owners.
Hi, is there a typo in this summary? I may just be tired, but I don't see how this reflects a risk reduction (at all, let alone 67%): Thanks, Naomi However, when the authors evaluated the infants that were able to maintain the study protocol by eating these foods consistently each week, they did find a significant difference in rates of food allergy: - 4% in the early introduction group versus - 3% in the standard group On Fri, Mar 4, 2016 at 3:39 PM, Kids With Food Allergies <...

These lists are very helpful, but quite short. It would be very helpful to see a Top-10 list, or even more, to give us more options. Sad to see Not Your Average Joe’s off the list - they are EXCELLENT with my daughter’s multiple food allergies.
Welcome to the community @Jasmina ! Happy to have you here 🤗 This is a good question. Generally, it's not necessary to avoid foods when breastfeeding. However it's best to discuss with your allergist as it can be an individual approach, especially an elimination diet. An elimination diet should only be performed under the direction of your doctor.
And what about breastfeeding child with atopic dermatitis? Is it placebo effect which mothers describe as a succes with elimination diet (documenting with diary)? Or again individual approach? Thanks.
