These #NewFoodFinds are happy news for those managing an egg allergy and/or soy allergy.
Mayonnaise is one of those food products that you might not think much about – until you need to avoid egg or soy. The good news is, Just Mayo and Follow Your Heart have new options in their allergy-friendly mayo lines. These options are portable just like their regular cousins. That makes them a great choice to take along on summertime BBQs and picnics
• Just Mayo – Just Mayo has introduced individual packets of their egg-free, soy-free flavored mayos.

Ingredients of the “original” flavor: Non-GMO Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Filtered Water, Lemon Juice, White Vinegar, 2% or less of the following: Organic Sugar, Salt, Pea Protein, Spices, Modified Food Starch, Beta-Carotene.

The manufacturing partners we work with conduct a thorough cleaning between runs of different products and do a complete inspection as well. We also have every batch that comes off the line tested for allergens and every facility is audited quarterly. We take allergies very seriously.
In addition, Just Mayo includes mustard as an ingredient under "spice."
• Follow Your Heart Vegenaise – Follow Your Heart Vegenaise recently launched two of its egg-free mayos in convenient squeeze bottle options. The Original and Reduced Fat versions are great for picnics or camping.
Ingredients of Original Vegenaise: Expeller-Pressed Canola Oil, Filtered Water, Brown Rice Syrup, Apple Cider Vinegar, Soy Protein, Sea Salt, Mustard Flour, Lemon Juice Concentrate. Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and non-GMO.
Additional versions in the original jars include Grapeseed Oil, Organic and Soy-Free. There is also a Vegenaise Gourmet line that includes Barbecue, Pesto, Roasted Garlic and Chipotle Vegenaise, plus Vegenaise Tartar Sauce and Horseradish Sauce.
Eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish are not used at all in the facility. However, the facility does process soy, milk, sesame seeds, mustard and wheat.
Potential cross-contamination information: Vegenaise is processed on shared equipment with milk. All equipment and utensils are fully washed, sanitized and inspected between runs of products with different allergen profiles. Milk allergen residue tests are also conducted regularly.
