French Toast and Pancakes: Verdict - Meh x 3 Mixing it - I didn't want to mix up the entire pouch. After some looking along the website I found you could mix it up in smaller batches if you have a device that can blend a smaller amount of liquid. I did 4 tsp and 1 cup water and blended with a stick blender. The smell is quite strong! Pancake: I thought I could then hand blend the prepared product into my pancake batter. It did not blend in completely. I saw yellow bits and bobs throughout.

I have never tried the Enjoy Life brand, but I have made dairy, soy, nut-free molded chocolates many times using chips from Chocolate Emporium. The problem I experience is that the molded chocolates looks wonderful at first, but they develop a 'bloom' (the whitish coating mentioned in the original post) very quickly, even when stored at just room temperature. In fact, I can only make the chocolates a day or two ahead because of this discoloration. Do any of you know a way I could prevent...

I would definitely use the 1 3/4 cup of gf flour. Otherwise the batter is way too thin. If your mix does not contain xanthan, then add 1/2 tsp per cup.

I used a dough recipe that I'd used before to make French baguettes. I rolled it thin and used large cookie cutters to make the shapes. I par-baked those early in the day. Then the kids just had to top their pizzas before I popped them back in the oven to bake. They were yummy and fun!
