It was really fun and easy to prepare the salad for photographing! The cinnamon in the dressing is an unusual choice but goes so well to bring out the sweetness in the carrots. Linda has provided so many delicious allergy-friendly recipes over the years, and it is an honor to be able to provide some color to Linda's post.

Re: Perry the Platypus (Milk-Free, Egg-Free, Nut-Free)

kandicejo ·
Sure! The body was 2 layers of Wacky Cake baked in a loaf pan. The legs, tail and beak (is that what a platypus has? lol) were rice krispie treats formed into the appropriate shapes. It was all covered in colored Marshmallow Fondant. The eyes are halved marshmallows with chocolate chip centers. The hair is tootsie roll.

I've done ribbon roses, but these have individual petals. You basically roll out each petal based on little balls of graduated sizes. I'll have to see if I can find the write up my friend did - cuz I don't recall exactly and I haven't done any in a while.

Re: My First Day of School with Food Allergies

Kids With Food Allergies ·
I have the app on iPhone, but I think it is the same for iPad. Using our iOS app, you click CLIPS. Then select the Clip Set (My First Day of School). At the top right is a + sign. Click that to add your photo. At that poi nt, you can either Take a Photo or Browse Your Photos. I clicked Browse. It opened up my camera roll and then I selected the photo I wanted to add. Now for those using mobile access (e.g. using your phone's browser), you will need to log in first before you can add a clip.
