hoolie1535 ❤️
Brandonsmama My son has been prescribed to take antihistamines on a daily basis because he has ideopathic anaphylaxis. I give him Zyrtec and Allegra daily, and from what I have read, this is the protocol for a person who has ideopathic anaphylaxis. I was guilty of doing the same thing before we actually knew he was having anaphylactic reactions though. Understanding Oral Allergy Syndrome
Kathy P So glad that reaction resolved quickly. Any reaction, no matter how slight, should be followed up with her doctor. They are the best person to advise on next steps like trying peaches peeled or even canned peaches to see if that is tolerated. My daughter has OAS and her reactions do vary by the pollen season as well as whether the fruit is peeled/cooked. [ more ]

Milk-Free, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free Cream of Mushroom Soup Recipe
Melanie Carver @allergic rver , yes, it will work for other "cream of" soup options as well. You may need to adjust the liquid a bit as your leeks may not release as much liquid as mushrooms do, so just add a bit more if needed. Definitely let us know how it turns out and post pics! [ more ]
